The New Masters is a cohort of artists with a shared mission to remove barriers to creating, educational and economic attainment for young people. They dedicate themselves to creating opportunities for collaboration with peer artists and the community while exploring potential and strategic outreach opportunities that support, enrich, and meet community needs.
Each workshop leading instructor/artist has anywhere from 5-20+ years of experience as teaching artists and community leaders. Over the years, each artist’s workshop has been refined, well attended and conducted in private and public settings, including but not limited to Public Schools, Community Centers, corporations and organizations. Each member/instructor in The New Masters group has made regular contributions in their communities from guest artist features or performances for fundraising; to public art murals and creative place-making.
